Announcing its full-year 2015 results (12-month period ending 31 December), Frankfurt-listed European betting operator bet-at-home AG has declared earnings of €33 million (£25.7 million) up 20% on FY 2014’s results of €27.5 million (£21.4 million).

Reporting quarterly growth throughout 2015, bet-at-home governance detailed that its operations had been hit by increased European gaming levies which amounted to €14.5 million.

The operator was able to counter its tax burden, by reducing its marketing expenditure to €36.5 million (FY 2014: €41 million).

Updating the markets bet-at-home governance stated that its positive revenue and earnings results were a testament to the operator’s effective growth strategy, which had helped the company navigate difficult European business conditions

“This once again underscores the lasting success of the measures that were implemented in order to gain customers and enhance customer loyalty. At the end of the fiscal year 2015, the bet-at-home.com AGgroup had about 4.3 million registered customers (FY 2014: 4.0 million)” read the bet-at-home corporate update.
