All-in Diversity Project changes Index research to account for all gambling organisations

The industry non-profit All-in Diversity Project (AiDP) has reshaped the ‘methodological evolution’ of its All-Index to provide a deeper report and analysis on the inclusivity of the global gambling workforce.

Since 2018, AiDP has reported on the composition of the global gaming workforce and the development and challenges of diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) through the All-Index.

For its forthcoming update, AiDP will reveal “significant shifts in industry participation patterns, leading to a transformative approach in measuring and reporting workplace inclusivity across the global betting and gambling sector.”

These changes reflect the evolving participant profile of the index, which now accounts for a wider representation of organisations involved in various gambling disciplines.

Participants broadening AiDP’s research scope include government regulatory bodies, regional service providers, compliance agencies, independent consultancies, and non-gambling-specific organisations.

The index will continue to provide an evaluation of DEI achievements and recognitions, with AiDP reporting that: “PENN Entertainment secured the top position, followed by Entain plc and International Game Technology (IGT plc).”

Yet in order to account for a more diverse sector and its employment, the Index has adjusted its methodology to incorporate new factors, including an organisation’s size, market focus, regional dynamics, and corporate governance.

Despite these changes, AiDP maintains its research focus on reflecting true diversity while preserving benchmarking integrity, as explained: “For the first time, we’re sharing detailed analysis of the specific practices, policies, and initiatives that enabled higher-scoring organisations to excel.

The diversity of participants has enriched our understanding of how strategies are implemented across different organisational contexts and how they impact commercial success. By identifying and sharing successful practices from top performers, we’re providing a valuable roadmap for organisations at every stage of their journey.”

As such, in 2025, the AiDP Index will provide detailed insights into jurisdictional trends and practical examples of successful employee engagement.

A further focus will be on the recruitment and retention practices of industry incumbents, aiming to foster a better workplace culture and develop strong leadership strategies.

Founded in 2017, the All-in Diversity Project (AiDP) was established as a non-profit by iGaming executives Kelly Kehn and Christina Thakor-Rankin to support organisational change and address challenges driven by the demands of a new global workplace.

The complete AiDP Index report is set to be released in mid-Q1 and will be available for free download from the website.
