Promoted to President, Khin has served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Global Games Unit since 2015.
IGT Plc In his role as IGT President of Global Gaming, Khin will be responsible for managing the subsidiary’s business unit, including studios, technology, sales, games and hardware, manufacturing and services, and systems.
Based in Las Vegas, Khin will report to IGT CEO Vince Sadusky, who commented: “Nick is the obvious choice to lead IGT Global Gaming. Nick’s knowledge, leadership, and passion have earned him the respect of colleagues throughout our industry.”
This August, the board of IGT announced to investors its support of a $4.05 billion cash offer by PE fund Apollo Global to acquire the Global Games business.
Apollo Global seeks to merge the Global Games unit with the business of Everi Holdings Inc, which previously sought to acquire IGT’s subsidiary before the Apollo deal was announced.
