SOFTSWISS paints October pink with breast cancer awareness campaign

SOFTSWISS has launched its social initiative “A Minute Today, a Future Ahead” to raise awareness around breast cancer.

Part of Pink October, the campaign puts emphasis on the importance of early detection and efficient prevention. Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer affecting women , but when an early diagnosis is made the five-year relative survival rate is 99%.

Monthly breast self-exams and regular clinical breast checks are recommended to prevent the disease early. Currently, half of the 2,000 employees at SOFTSWISS are women. The company will offer each one of them a full refund for all ultrasounds and mammograms made in October and November.

The igaming firm will also host an online webinar on mental health to provide insights for those facing the disease. Women from SOFTSWISS will also participate in a charity race organised by the movement ‘Butterfly Support Mission’.

Valentina Bagniya, Chief Marketing Officer at SOFTSWISS, commented: “Health is a crucial value beyond everything. Here, at SOFTSWISS, we aim to help and support our employees’ well-being and health every day.

“By promoting the Pink October initiative, we want to stress the importance of well-timed self-care and make this issue visible both within the igaming industry and beyond.”

SOFTSWISS is supporting the Pink October initiative for a second year in a row, with the hopes of inspiring employees and their families to take timely action.
