GIG launches Nordic ‘Top 5’ brands Guts.com & Super Lenny for the UK betting market

Oslo-listed Gaming Innovation Group (GIG), has announced that it will launch its popular Nordic facing brands Guts.com and Super Lenny (SuperLenny.com) for the UK market, having gained its official sports betting operator license from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC).

Following its UKGC approval, GIG governance informs that it is now allowed to operate its proprietary brands in addition to third party operator clients and white labels through its iGaming Cloud platform.

As of today, GIG is able to service UK betting customers through Guts.com and SuperLenny brands complying fully with UK online betting regulations and standards.

GIG CEO Robin Reed states that the company has high ambitions for both brands which have secured a ‘top five’ B2C position within the saturated Nordic gaming/sports betting markets.

Reed comments on UK market entry “The UK is amongst the most competitive markets for sports betting worldwide and entering the market is a bold statement of our intentions within sports betting and within our regulated market strategy.”

In 2017, GIG will continue its corporate strategy of expanding services beyond its Nordic home markets. This January the platform supplier entered a strategic partnership to launch German language sportsbook Wetten.com

GIG’s current gaming portfolio consists of the following brands; Guts.com, Super Lenny, Thrills, Kaboo, Rizk and BetSpin.com. GIG governance will update the further update the market and company stakeholders on its UK market plans and initiatives within the coming weeks.
