Brite Payments has announced a new hire to help out with the gaming and financial side of the business.
Paul Myatt will take on the role of SVP Gaming & Financial Services, accompanying Brite Payments in its continuous growth evident from the company’s previous $60m funding round achieved last year.
Myatt joins Brite with two decades of experience in the B2B software and services sector, as well as over 10 years experience in gaming. Previously, Myatt served as the Chief Business Development Officer at end-to-end online gaming platform provider Aspire Global, as well as the Chief Commercial Officer & MD at Sweden-based game studio Quickspin.
On his appointment, Myatt commented: “I am thrilled to be joining Brite Payments – a dynamic, fast-growth company operating in a rapidly evolving sector.
“Open Banking is proving to be a catalyst for change, and instant payments are emerging as one of the most promising use cases. However, there is a growing appetite in the market for more complete, easy-to-integrate solutions that reduce operational complexity and benefit the bottom line for merchants. Brite is a leading light in the development of such solutions.”
The Instant payments provider facilitates real-time account-to-account payments and payouts, helping Sweden’s fintech space access quicker and more seamless payment methodsl. Myatt will bolster the company’s commercial team with local and sector-specific expertise.
Lena Hackelöer, Founder & CEO, Brite Payments, added: “Paul joins Brite at an exciting time, as we see growing interest in our instant payments and payouts solutions across geographies and industries.
“He brings a wealth of experience to his role and understands the crucial need for fast payments and payouts in the customer experience. Paul’s deep understanding of the pain points faced by businesses, coupled with his knowledge of the regulatory environment in which we operate, means that Paul will play an important role in our growth as Brite Payments continues to scale at pace.”
