Kambi has secured a further rollout of its sports betting solutions in the US market, signing an agreement with the del Lago Resort and Casino in New York state.
The Sweden-founded firm will support Churchill Downs-owned del Lago’s retail sportsbook operation with its betting products and services under the multi-year deal.
Targeting a stronger sports betting offering after one year of regulated betting in New York, del Lago will integrate Kambi’s solution into its property, which consists of 1,000 square feet of LED video screens.
Lance Young, General Manager of del Lago Resort & Casino, remarked: “We are very pleased to partner with Kambi and leverage their award-winning sports betting technology as we strive to continue delivering the best casino experiences possible to our customers.
“The addition of Kambi’s products and services to our retail sportsbook and modern casino floor will create an even more exciting viewing and betting experience on game days.”
The agreement comes just two weeks after Kambi signed a renewal of its agreement with South Africa’s Sun International, one of its longest running commercial partners.
However, in the years since the repeal of PASPA and the following expansion of sports betting across the country, the US industry continues to pose attractive opportunities for Kambi.
Recent months have seen the company strengthen its position in the country, signing separate agreements with Miami Valley Gaming and Rush Street Interactive (RSI), the latter an expansion of an existing partnership.
Meanwhile, Kambi reported last week that Super Bowl LVII was the second largest turnover event in its entire operational history, breaking both online and retail records, with Bet Builders standing out in particular as a promising product.
Kristian Nylén, Kambi CEO and Co-Founder, said: “We are very excited to sign del Lago Resort & Casino as our newest on-property partner in the state of New York.
“New York is a state known for its passionate sports fans and we are committed to bringing our high-quality sports betting service to the customers of one of the premier properties in the state.”
