SBC Events has strengthened its conference team with the appointment of Aidan Brain in the newly-created VP Conference Production (Americas) role. Brain has been recruited by SBC following a series of record-breaking industry events and the development of exciting expansion plans heading into 2023.
Reporting to the CEO and Founder Rasmus Sojmark and the Director of Conference Production Jonathan Whelan, Brain is based out of New York and will oversee the conference production for three of the company’s six major events, SBC Summit North America, SBC Summit Latinoamérica and the recently-acquired Canadian Gaming Summit — Canada’s premier annual conference and trade show for land-based and iGaming professionals.
Brain, who has more than a decade of experience in the B2B events industry, joins SBC from Zero100, where he served as Content Director. He had previously spent five years as the Head of Conference Production (Americas) at the global events company Terrapinn.

Brain is the latest hire in a vast recruitment drive by the media and events company, which has increased global headcount by over 40% year to date.
