The governance of JPJ Group declares a ‘new era’ for the company, as it completes its £490 million takeover of long-term technology partner Gamesys (transaction first announced 13 June).

Completing its enlargement, JPJ Group changes its corporate identity to ‘Gamesys Group Plc’, trading on the London Stock Exchange under the new ticker of ‘GYS’ as of this morning.

As previously declared, the new entity of Gamesys Plc will be led by Lee Fenton (JPJ CEO) as Group Chief Executive, supported by Robeson Reeves as Gamesys Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Lee Fenton, Chief Executive of Gamesys Group plc, commented on developments; “The combination of two leading and complementary businesses has created an organisation with greater scale and capability which stands the new Gamesys Group plc in good stead as the competitive and regulatory environment continues to evolve. With full operational control of technology and operations, an enhanced brand portfolio and our exceptional combined talent base, we are confident that we are well-positioned to create significant opportunities for future growth.”

Further executive team changes declared in the firm’s prospectus, see Simon Wykes, the CEO incumbent of Gamesys transferred to the role of ‘Transition Director’. Wykes will serve on the company board for a 12-month tenure, assisting Gamesys governance

Supporting the firm’s enlargement and transition period, company management has launched a new website – www.gamesysgroup.com.

At a governance level, Gamesys Group will be governed by led by Neil Goulden as Executive Chairman.
