Stars Group to publish Sky Bet business report on 17 September

Updating the market, the governance of Toronto TSX-listed The Stars Group Inc has confirmed that it will publish a ‘business acquisition report’ (BAR) related to its $4.7 billion takeover of Sky Betting & Gaming on Monday 17 September 2018.

The report will include Sky Betting and Gaming’s audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending 30 June 2018 as well as further pro-forma unaudited financial statements.

Assisting the publication of its BAR document, Stars Group governance will host a conference call and webcast on 17 September (8.30am Eastern Time) to discuss the reports content, metrics and further relevant information.

The Stars Group intends to issue a further news release on 17 September containing supplemental information which will be discussed during the scheduled conference call.

Publishing its 2018 interim results, the Stars Group governance disclosed that the TSX operator had restructured its corporate accounting framework to reflect the group’s future enlarged capacity preparing to incorporate the assets of Sky Betting and Gaming.
