Paul Hewitt – Playtech Plc

FTSE250 gambling technology group Playtech Plc has confirmed the departure of Paul Hewitt as a corporate non-executive director.

A veteran in corporate financing Hewitt joined the FTSE enterprise in 2015, advising Playtech governance and leadership on capital structures, large-scale growth planning and M&A strategies.

Hewitt is set to join the board of UK consumer finance and insurance group Provident Financial Plc.

Confirming the departure of Hewitt, Alan Jackson, Chairman of Playtech Plc said: “I would like to thank Paul on behalf of the Board and the Company. Over the last three years Paul’s contribution has been of huge value to the Company during a period of strategic progress and diversification and we wish him every success in his future roles.”

Playtech Plc has moved to restructure its governance advisory, with the FTSE enterprise confirming last week that Industry leadership veteran Susan Ball will join the company’s Board of Directors on 1 August.

Furthermore, Ball will occupy a seat on Playtech’s audit, risk and remuneration committee taking over the duties of outgoing non-executive director Claire Milne.
