bet365 gets native with Playtech

Seeking to boost its mobile casino app’s speed and user engagement capabilities, bet365 has become the first betting operator to integrate Playtech new native application.

Detailing upgrades, Playtech specified that bet365 customers would see new improvements including faster load times, quicker access to favourite games and heightened ‘immersive’ gameplay, which the technology provider stated would be better than HTML5 equivalents.

Further features made available to bet365 players include a personalised lobby accompanied by a ‘device centric’ layout, making it easier to navigate. Playtech mobile further detailed that all its games inventory has been optimised for both Android and iOS systems.

Shimon Akad, COO, Playtech, said: “Research, including a recent Nielsen report, suggests that 89% (vs. c.11% browser) of time on mobile is spent in-app, supporting the theory that native apps are what players want to use when gaming.
