Luckbox to build in-house content studio powered by Publishme

Strengthening its global growth directives, Luckbox has announced that it will build its own ‘in-house content studio’ in partnership with Publishme.

The project will be led by former Red Bull and Riot Games executive Nevzat Uçar, who joined the esports wagering platform at the start of the year as Luckbox’s new Head of Content.

Planning its next stage of critical growth following the oversubscribed listing of its parent company Real Luck Group on the Toronto Ventures Exchange, Luckbox has identified content as a critical discipline as it seeks to lead in and develop a mass-market brand for esports global audiences.

“I’ll be leading our Publishme relationship to build our exclusive, in-house content studio to convert our ideas and content strategy into action and realization,” Uçar commented.

“The Publishme team will support Luckbox in creating written, visual and video content as well as graphic design, creating esports tournaments, helping on influencer management and production. They’ll work with us to convey our message to the esports and gaming audience through our owned and managed channels.”

Istanbul-based Publishme is a full-service marketing agency specialised in advertising for gaming-related businesses and executing brand activations with gaming audiences.

The agency’s clients include leading games publishers Epic Games and Activision, whilst Publishme is also producing further gaming engagement campaigns for Red Bull, MasterCard and Unilever.

“I believe that Luckbox’ s global vision and the upcoming projects that we will develop and execute together will create a huge differentiator in terms of attracting customers. We’re excited that we’ll be able to share our projects and contents with the global gaming community,” commented Publishme CEO Özgür Özalp.

Luckbox’s content strategy was backed by new Chief Executive Thomas Rosander, who took leadership of the esports bookmaker last month, replacing former incumbent Quentin Martin.

Securing new working capital through Real Luck Group’s TSXV IPO, Rosander has been tasked with strengthening Luckbox’s mass-market proposition, spearheading the firm’s new marketing drive.

He said: “This partnership represents the beginning of our drive to scale our customer acquisition efforts. Our Head of Content, Nevzat Uçar, is highly experienced delivering content that resonates with targeted audiences, especially at his prior roles at Red Bull and Riot Games.

“We are confident that Publishme will complement his skills to drive content that will bring esports and gaming audiences on to our platform.”
