Oddschecker makes OC+ tools free, closing subscription service

Oddschecker

Oddschecker will end its paid subscription service, making its premium OC+ tools suite free to access from 27 October 2026.

The announcement was made today in a notice to subscribers of the heritage bookmaker and odds comparison portal.

The flagship brand of FairPlay Sports Media (FPSM) has offered paid subscriptions since 2024, as part of a new commercial strategy to improve audience retention for clients.

The OC+ suite provides betting tools, insights and premium tipping content and unlimited odds comparison grids with price history, market tracking and AI-powered analysis and displays.

Subscription packages have also included reduced advertising, a racehorse share and a Racing TV discount. The notice does not specify whether these additional benefits will continue under the free offering.

Oddschecker said the changes would make its tools more accessible, although the notice provided no further explanation of the commercial strategy behind ending subscription charges.

Premium Tipster content will also become freely available from 8am on 27 October.

In 2024 Oddschecker was acquired by US sports and entertainment fund of Bruin Capital from Flutter Entertainment in a transaction valued at £155m.

Under Bruin Capital’s ownership, Oddschecker became part of FairPlay Sports Media (FPSM), a sports media network bringing together brands including WhoScored, Confido Network and SuperScommesse.
