Catena signals its expansion intent with new ‘major recruits’

Further to publishing its H1 2018 interim results, Stockholm-listed Catena Media has strengthened its senior management team supporting its ongoing ‘international expansion and diversification strategy’.

Catena governance confirms the appointments of Michael Daly as US General Manager and Nigel Frith as General Manager of Financial Services.

Furthermore, Catena confirms the appointment of Andreas Ericson as new Director of M&A, identifying new market transactions.

US lead Michael Daly joins Catena from online gambling platform developer GAN, where he previously served as Executive VP of North America (2015-2018).

A financial services marketing veteran, Nigel Frith joins the Stockholm-listed enterprise from legacy forex portal FXCompared, where he served as Global General Manager (2017-2018).

Catena’s General Managers will be supported by Andreas Ericson, a former Telenor and Kinnevik technology investment director.

Updating investors, Per Hellberg, Group CEO of Catena Media, commented on the new appointments.

“Major recruits have joined our team in the second quarter,” he said. “To build our London office and the Financial Services vertical, Nigel Frith was appointed in March, beginning vigorously with four new finance acquisitions.

“Our new General Manager in the US, Michael Daly, will use his strong capabilities to enhance our efforts in the US market. As the new Head of M&A, Andreas Ericson will increase already high acquisition rate and help us to reach our goals in the US and globally. I am happy to have joined Catena Media as of June and the team and I are strongly motivated to take Catena Media to new heights.”
