Global GES interview with Warwick Bartlett – CEO of GBGC

SBC News Global GES interview with Warwick Bartlett - CEO of GBGC

Warwick BartlettIn the build up to the upcoming Global GES on July 9-11 Barcelona, SBC has managed to catch up with Warwick Bartltt CEO of Global Betting and Gaming Consultants (GBGC). Warwick will be discussing issues ‘The Next Big Opportunity – Developed or Emerging Markets” at the Conferences iGaming Strategy and Customers Segment on day 1 16:50 CET.

SBC has managed to ask this very busy man, six questions regarding this years Global GES and iGaming Strategy

SBC: As a business elite you must get asked to attend and speak at thousands of conferences why choose to speak at Global GES?

WB: GES is a must attend conference because of the quality of the speakers and delegates. You have established a niche in the market that attracts the key executives in the industry, it isn’t often that you have such an opportunity to meet the key decision makers all under one roof.

SBC: You are speaking on igaming strategy and customers section of the conference, why is that such a hot topic at the moment in the igaming sector?

WB: I am joining Richard Carter from Deutsche Bank to discuss the Next Big Opportunities in Gambling. Every operator is looking for the next big thing and it just might be in front of them.

SBC: Are you an igaming customer? Do you play gamble on sports or play any poker/casino or bingo. If so which do you like to play and why?

WB: If I am watching a match where I don’t have a supporter interest I have a bet before the game and in play. It creates so much more interest and because I do not support either team my judgment is rational rather than emotional.

SBC: If you could change or implement one thing about the Igaming sector, what would it be?

WB: Government! I would want Government to recognize that igaming provides people with entertainment and the gambler has every right to be taxed fairly.

SBC:Do you have any tips or advice on public speaking for our readers?

WB: The primary roles of a public speaker is to inform so content is important and to entertain so long as you bear that in mind you will be successful
