Sportsbook platform provider Amelco has strengthened its geofencing capabilities via a new partnership with Radar.
The deal is primarily focused on North America, with Amelco strengthening the location verification powers of its partnering operators in the region.
Radar was first founded in 2016, initially gaining traction across the retail, payments and logistics sectors. It then branched out into the gaming industry in 2023.
Nick Patrick, Radar Co-Founder and CEO, commented: “As new markets continue to regulate, operators need to ensure that they remain on the right side of compliance. Our commitment to cutting-edge compliance and user experience ensures that our partners remain at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry.
“iGaming operators are demanding geolocation alternatives. We’re pleased to work with Amelco and other forward-thinking suppliers to offer a next-generation geolocation alternative that is more flexible, scalable, and cost-effective.”
In addition to Radar’s geolocation suite, operators leveraging Amelco’s capabilities also have access to in-house player account management system, a bonus engine, multi-state wallets, mobile app support, and various data feeds.
All of this is currently available across 17 US states, with Fanatics, Hard Rock Bet, Saracen Casino, Entertain and Flutter already live with Amelco.
Brandon Walker, Amelco Head of Business Development, added: “This new partnership is yet another string to Amelco’s bow, allowing us to further strengthen our geolocation suite for our partners – giving them the edge they need to succeed in North America.
