Entain Plc has confirmed the appointment of Dafne Guisard as the new Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the FTSE100 global gambling group.
The COO appointment will be effective from 13 January 2025, with Guisard joining Entain’s C-level leadership team, led by Group CEO Gavin Isaacs.
Guisard joins Entain from The Kraft Heinz Company, where she served as Chief Strategy, Transformation, and Digital Officer.
Notably, Entain highlighted Guisard’s success in implementing new operating models at Kraft Heinz to advance digital transformation across all areas of the company.
The update stated: “At Entain, Dafne will drive operational excellence, leading global strategic planning, the customer service organisation, and M&A integration.”
Entain is advancing key objectives of its corporate reorganisation, with leadership focused on accelerating ‘Project Romer’ initiatives to upgrade its BetMGM US sportsbook wagering capacity for all US professional sports leagues.
An expert in corporate finance and strategic planning, Guisard brings experience leading mass-market transformation projects for AB InBev and serving as an executive of Goldman Sachs.
CEO Gavin Isaacs said: “Dafne brings a wealth of experience in driving strategic growth and delivering transformation on a global scale.
“Her appointment will help position Entain at the leading edge of innovation and strengthen the executive management team as we build on a period of stronger-than-expected revenue growth and key market expansion. Dafne will be a tremendous asset to Entain.”
