Rank takes on full customer compliance platfrom of DoTrust

Rank Group Plc has expanded its principal supplier partnership with the Department of Trust (DoTrust) to cover all compliance and customer risk assessment duties of the LSE-listed gambling group.

As announced this morning, Rank Interactive unit will integrate “DoTrust Complete”, the “first dedicated platform offering end-to-end frictionless and enhanced financial risk checks to support all stages of the player journey.”

The integration will see Rank carry out its duties on conducting financial risk, affordability, AML checks on its customers utilising the DoTrust Complete as lead compliance platform.

“Rank has always been at the forefront of consumer protection and is constantly seeking ways to improve our player experience within a safe environment,” stated Liam Smith, Director of Customer Operations for Rank Interactive.

“DoTrust Complete is the first tool we have found that has been specifically developed for gambling operators. The efficiency and degree of control which Complete gives is impressive, and we are excited to leverage these capabilities in building our business.”

Moving forward, Rank subsidiaries will undertake all necessary customer compliance checks under a unified platform, including “frictionless income and vulnerability tests using the best available public and proprietary data, much of which has not been deployed in the gambling industry before.”

DoTrust was founded in 2021, by former IGT executive and safer gambling expert Charles Cohen, with the aim of minimising friction points in operator compliance duties with customers, to ensure clients can deliver the safest of gambling environments, regardless of regulatory changes.

Michael Byrne, DoTrust Chief Operating Officer, said: “We are delighted to officially launch Complete ahead of the expected change in regulation this year. Operators now have a reliable, comprehensive and industry-first service they can rely on to meet all current and future requirements. Complete reduces friction for customers and increases certainty and efficiency for operators.”
