Golden Race and SBTech combine for eTopaz virtual platform

An online virtual gaming platform for eTopaz, the exclusive sportsbook of Azerbaijan’s monopoly state lottery, has become the first joint partnership for Golden Race and SBTech.

Virtual sports solutions provider Golden Race and SBTech, a supplier of sports betting and iGaming platform solutions, signed an agreement last year to cooperate on a global level. SBTech has powered the sports betting platform on eTopaz for more than three years.

Martin Wachter, CEO & Founder at Golden Race, said: “We are very pleased to announce that our first partner with SBTech, eTopaz, has gone live. Our online virtual sports platform has proved to be extremely successful with players globally, due to its similarities with real sportsbooks.

“We proudly say that it is a real sportsbook with a virtual outcome, since it features real odds, all the major football leagues in the world and the most familiar interface for punters, requiring a zero-learning curve. We are very grateful to SBTech for this collaboration, and we are certain that is the first of many more partners to come.”

Andrew Cochrane, Chief Development Officer at SBTech, added: “We are delighted to partner with Golden Race and integrate their extensive suite of virtual sports content into SBTech’s award-winning platform.

“Virtual sports have always been a key vertical for our partners, however they now play an even more important role during the unprecedented times we are all experiencing. SBTech is committed to driving partner revenues across all verticals and adding Golden Race’s innovative virtual sports content will further achieve it.”

Reacting on LinkedIn, SBTech’s Casino Operations Team Lead Ralitsa Zareva said: “What a great day! We’ve just launched for the first time Golden Race Virtuals for a client of ours and this is just the beginning of a long and amazing relationship.”
