Playtech selects TruNarrative as network compliance lead

FTSE gambling group Playtech Plc has strengthened its compliance and transactional monitoring capacities by integrating TruNarrative ‘single platform’ KYC solutions.

The partnership will see Playtech B2C customers benefit from a single platform managing compliance provisions for age and ID verification, document validity, PEP, sanction screening, KYC referencing and further customer protections.

In its update, Playtech management details that it has chosen TruNarrative as compliance lead for its network partners, underlining the cost benefits of its solution and its capabilities to accommodate diverse requirements across multiple markets.

Ian Ince, Head of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance at Playtech, said “The increasingly complex regulatory framework is the single biggest challenge facing gambling businesses operating in regulated markets.  This partnership will help operators answer this challenge.”

TruNarrative compliance provisions will now be integrated across Playtech’s IMS platform and made available for customers’ diverse multi-brand risk management strategies.

The Playtech partnership sees TruNarrative announce its second major online gambling partnership closing 2019, having been selected as lead KYC solutions supplier for Gamesys Group Plc last month.
