Commologic launches BetUP with Unibet

Commologic has agreed a deal with Unibet, one of Europe’s largest online gambling operators, for its product BetUP. BetUp is an innovative live betting game that appeals to casual sports fans.

It combines different gaming genres into a second-screen, live sports betting experience and will be available across Unibet’s desktop, mobile and tablet channels.

As well as appealing to existing players, it is also an excellent acquisition tool for softer sports fans, as it not only entertains them with an in-game experience, but also educates them about in-play betting.

Tamir Berler, CEO and Founder of Commologic, said: “Although sports betting is thriving, there has been very little innovation when it comes to softer, complementary products. BetUP is a fresh and innovative game that is entertaining and fun to play, while for operators it provides a new audience, high profit-margins, is risk free and extends session times and touch points.”

He added: “We’re thrilled to be launching with such a huge brand as Unibet. They see the value in offering products like this and we’re very excited about what we can achieve together.”

Erik Bäcklund, Head of Sportsbook at Unibet, said: “At Unibet we are very much focused on innovation and we believe that BetUP has great potential as a fan engagement tool. Both the online gaming industry and the way we consume media are changing and BetUP provides a friendly and entertaining second-screen live betting experience for casual players.”

He added: “We expect the product to be popular with existing customers, but also to act as a solid entry point for the less betting-savvy sports fans, who currently don’t bet online.”
