Updating the market London AIM listed mobile gambling operator Gaming Realms Plc, has reported that it has doubled 2015 revenues to £21.4 million up 116% on 2014’s £11.2 million.
The operator’s strong revenue performance was driven by a tripling in its ‘real money gambling’ division which registered £10.8 million in revenues.
Gaming Realms governance were further pleased to note that the company had finished 2015 strongly, reporting its strongest ever quarter performance.
The mobile gaming operator, would use its market update to announce that it had signed three licensing agreements for its Slingo game format, which would provide revenue streams for the coming year.
Gaming Realms governance confirmed agreements with media publishers Freemantle and Endemol, which will see the Slingo game promoted on popular content such as ITV’s X Factor.
Furthermore Gaming Realms will leverage the Slingo format to develop a new game launching in the second quarter, and with leading social games provider Zynga to bring a Slingo branded slot game to the social casino market.
“We are excited by what has already been achieved in social gaming following the acquisition of RealNetwork Inc’s mobile games assets as we look to build out our games offering and publishing capabilities. The group is already reaping the benefits of the acquisition, evident by the signing of the agreements with Fremantle, Endemol and Zynga. These agreements will open the group up to new player audiences and revenue streams,” said Chief Executive Patrick Southon.
