Having sealed its biggest igaming platform provisions deal with Rank Interactive, Newcastle based Bede Gaming aims to hire 75 additional staff to aid its operations.
Last January the Gosforth based platform provider announced that it had gained an exclusive provisions contract to supply Rank Group interactive brands Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casino. Bede Gaming will further supply its in-house games titles to Rank Interactive.
Speaking to North East news source The Journal, Managing Director Dan Smyth confirmed that Bede would look to hire at least 25 software and user experience developers. With the company’s continued growth Smyth expects to increase Bede headcount with an additional 50 team members, doubling the size of Bede’s workforce.
Dan Smyth further commented : “Since we signed the deal with Rank we’ve had a lot of queries from leading European operators.
“In fact I believe we have more opportunities available than we could possibly deliver – but clearly Rank requires our full focus for the time being.
“We have always had a reputation for delivery of the projects we take on and we don’t want to ruin that by taking on more than we can handle.
“For a company that is less than three years old to have won a deal of this size is a testament to the enormous hard work of everyone who works for Bede and their skill in creating one of the best gaming platforms in the world.”
