Mediatech Solutions, provider oindependent real money gaming platform and provisions, has officially launched a new product line to manage next generation land-based gaming terminals.

Branded ‘Candy’, the new product line puts Mediatech at the forefront of retail gaming. Candy provides detailed player tracking (where appropriate), a single wallet with peripheral integration, a lightweight content delivery mechanism and a dynamic lobby capable of updating content across all game genres in real time to better target players with the most contemporary and relevant games from any regulated game provider.

Mediatech has partnered with ASE (Basque Gaming Arcades Association) in the Basque Country Spain for a pilot program of its terminals and platform. 20 next generation terminals, offering slots content provided by NYX Gaming Group, will initially be distributed throughout the ASE’s arcades during the trial with the view to continue to refine and grow the offering based on real time data from the players and operators. This rollout of Candy for ASE features remotely configurable responsible gaming features in line with the Basque regulatory requirements and a second screen with localized promotional videos and responsible gaming messages.

ASE has been concerned for a number of years about the gaming market trends, not only by the decrease in the earnings but also the ageing demographic of the customer base, the product obsolescence and the appearance of new competitors that use channels, technology and financial resources unknown or unreachable for them.

Pedro Torrecilla, ASE’s President commented, “For years that we’ve been looking for new business opportunities for our land based gaming venues, aiming to offer our current and future customers products that improve their entertainment experiences. During this long journey, we have evaluated very different options and have found a provider that understands our necessities, our limitations and our opportunities in Mediatech Solutions.

Jessica Ordovas, Mediatech’s Founder and CEO says “this is another important step in the journey of our company, we are privileged to have ASE as a partner on this pilot program. They have been progressive and supportive of the development of this system, which we hope will fundamentally change the way retail is delivered and supported for both Operators and Consumers from a product and economic point of view”
