Coral installs Betradar’s Live Channel

LBO operator Coral has launched Betradar‘s Live Channel for retail betting in its shops. The bookmaker has already implemented the live sports channel in over 100 shops across the country with the intention to rollout 1,000 shops within 12 months.

Olly Raeburn, Coral’s Marketing Director said: “We’re delighted to be adding the Betradar Live channel to the Coral proposition as part of this offering. We’re always looking at ways of giving our customers more choice and we believe that the breadth and depth of additional content that Betradar’s Live Channel brings will add some genuine value to our product mix”.

Betradar’s Tom Edwards welcomes the formed agreement with long-term customer Coral: “Coral is one of the key players in the UK market and a trusted client since several years. I am delighted that Coral have realised the great opportunity and potential of the Live Channel for their business. We have, within a remarkably short time, integrated the streaming channel via satellite distribution and adapted it to Coral’s corporate identity.

Betradar’s Live Channel, launched in summer 2013, is the first product ever to combine live odds, live statistics and most importantly live pictures from sporting events around the globe on one single screen. The easy-to-implement streaming offer provides a wide range of international media rights, such as the French Ligue 1 and Coupe de la Ligue, the American Major League Soccer, the world’s best handball league HBL, the German and Spanish Basketball league and several international ATP and WTA tournaments, to name only a few.

Betradar’s Live Channel is currently incorporated in nearly one thousand betting shops across Europe and has expanded recently into the African market. The Live Channel provides currently a live sports coverage of an average of 12 hours per day enabling the shops to extend their live betting offering for their entire business hours.
