EstrelaBet deepens anti-fraud abilities with IBIA membership

The International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) has welcomed EstrelaBet as its latest member.

Through its membership, EstrelaBet becomes part of 140 global brands that have committed to safeguarding sports against match-fixing attempts. In the market of Brazil, where EstrelaBet is headquartered, the IBIA has an agreement in place with the Ministry of Finance to strengthen the integrity of the local betting market.

Most recently, the association organised a forum for a number of payment providers to be held at SBC Summit Rio, where all parties will discuss various strategies to further protect Brazil sports from corruption.

Fellipe Fraga, Chief Business Officer and Institutional Relations at EstrelaBet, commented: “Partnering with IBIA, a globally recognized institution in betting integrity, reinforces our commitment to adopting best practices and increasing oversight in preventing match-fixing and fraud. This contributes to a safer and more transparent environment for everyone’s entertainment.”

Joining the ranks of the IBIA will further allow EstrelaBet to access strategic data collaborations that would allow it to better detect, prevent, and investigate suspected acts of fraud in regulated sports betting.

Khalid Ali, CEO of IBIA, said: “We are delighted that EstrelaBet has become a member the
