BetMakers Technology Group has extended its partnership with Australia-based wagering operator Sportsbet.
The enhanced agreement will see BetMakers continue to supply Sportsbet with its pricing and data solutions that will further expand the global footprint of the latter’s racing book.
Leveraging BetMakers’ global race day control technology will allow Sportsbet to optimise its market management, racing event life-cycle, as well as trading strategies.
Nathan Arundell, Chief Commercial Officer of Sportsbet, said: “Sportsbet and BetMakers are long-term partners, and we are thrilled to extend our partnership further and continue to bring excitement to life to more than 2.2 million Australian customers.”
Commenting on the partnership’s extension, Jake Henson, CEO of BetMakers, added: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Sportsbet, Australia’s largest online wagering operator.
“This long-term extension highlights the strength of our relationship as well as the value our pricing and data services bring to the Sportsbet operation. We look forward to continuing to drive our offering forward with their support and collaboration.”
BetMakers’ presence in Oceania has been steadily growing, with the technology group recently agreeing on terms for another partnership with an Australian sports betting provider, Dabble.
The notable difference here is that Dabble not only wants to reinforce its position on the Australian market, but is also explicitly targeting a launch in the UK, which BetMakers will additionally support.
