SportyBet has announced a partnership with identity verification and compliance firm Legitimuz.
Reinforceing its commitment to security and regulatory compliance in Brazil, the operator will gain access to a complete betting barring query system, quickly checking lists of Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) restrictions.
In addition, Legitimuz will implement an identity verification and transactional security solution, which includes facial recognition for withdrawals.
Kayky Janiszewski, CEO of Legitimuz, commented: “Security and trust are fundamental pillars for SportyBet, and, with the support of Legitimuz, we will provide an experience that is not only agile for users, but also safe and strictly in compliance with Brazilian regulations.”
The group also mentioned the use of automatic document detection, reconstruction of low-quality images and retry flow in order to make the user experience ‘more agile and efficient’.
The integration of real-time human assistants also looks to ensure that any obstacles in the verification process can be resolved better.
Overall, the partnership allows SportyBet to integrate additional advanced verification solutions, such as automated suspicious activity queries and facial recognition for financial transactions, improving security and transparency in all operations.
Janiszewski added: “Our advanced verification solution reinforces this commitment, ensuring a transparent and reliable betting environment for all bettors.”
SportyBet was one of the first platforms to undergo its licensing process in Brazil – a market that is expected to launch early next year.
