Betsafe has extended its links with the Lithuanian Basketball Federation (LKF) as a long standing partner and main sponsor of the it’s men’s national team.
The Betsson-owned operator will support the team as they participate in the FIBA Basketball World Cup, which will take place in Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines from 25 August – 10 September.
During the tournament, the national teams will fight for medals and the cup, as well as for qualification to the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.

The first stage of preparation for the Lithuanian men’s basketball team will begin on 12 July in Druskininkai, the governing body outlined, and the second stage will start on July 17 in Palanga.
“We are proud of such a long-lasting partnership with Betsafe. It started more than 10 years ago, coincidently right before the FIBA World Cup 2010,” added LTU Basketball President, Vydas Gedvilas.
“Throughout these years we‘ve enjoyed a number of great victories, and in the future, I have no doubt, we will win many more victories together.”
Head of the Lithuanian men’s national team, Kazys Maksvytis, also expressed that the team is ‘grateful to the long-term sponsors of the federation’, adding that they are happy to work together.
