Sky Bet has renewed its long-established partnership with Sporting Solutions and will again use the betting technology supplier’s odds services in 2023.
The deal will see the Flutter-owned UK bookmaker continue to use Sporting Solutions’ trading services for pre-match and in-play odds across thousands of events, encompassing a wide variety of sports.
The latest renewal of the odds services agreement takes the close working relationship between the two companies past the eight-year mark.
Dan Barrett, Commercial Lead at Sky Bet, said: “Sporting Solutions has always been an excellent supplier with an efficient and reliable service. We’re happy to be continuing our long-term partnership with them into 2023.”
Echoing that satisfaction about the extension of the deal, Andy Wright, CEO at Sporting Solutions, said: “Trading is a key part of our heritage and expertise. A leading bookmaker like Sky Bet requires best in class trading services and this latest renewal is recognition of the level of service we provide.
“Sky Bet is a valued partner and we are proud to extend our partnership with one of the biggest names in sports betting. We look forward to working together to bring the best possible service to its customers.”
News of the extension to the Sky Bet agreement comes at the end of a busy year for Groupe FDJ-owned Sporting Solutions.
Among its successful projects in 2022 was the launch of the Betting Innovation Centre in partnership with Stats Perform. It combines Sporting Solutions’ expertise in pricing, modelling and trading with Stats Perform’s Opta data to allow operator partners to integrate bet builder pricing and contextual content at scale.
Discussing the launch of the Centre in June, Wright predicted that the work with Stats Perform would create a “compelling product leading up to the World Cup to tap into that new market anticipation for player stats betting”.
