Betway scores Robbie Keane as brand ambassador ahead of World Cup

Premier League icon, Robbie Keane, has been named as the latest Betway brand ambassador.

On the firm’s editorial hub, the Betway Insider, the Irish top goal scorer and 20th-highest goalscorer in international football history will provide insight to fans with regular blog posts.

Anthony Werkman, CEO of Betway, commented: “It’s with great pleasure that we welcome Robbie Keane to our roster of brand ambassadors.

“Robbie is well known with football fans in the UK and Ireland for his goal scoring achievements in the Premier League, while his record for the Republic of Ireland at International level speaks for itself.

“With the World Cup just weeks away, we’re all looking forward to hearing his thoughts on the world’s biggest football competition.”

As Qatar 2022 edges closer, Betway has launched its UK and Ireland campaign, Quest To Qatar. The company outlined that this allows customers to get rewarded for their loyalty as they build a free bet pot for the international tournament that kicks off on 20 November.

Keane said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Betway as a brand ambassador and I’m looking forward to sharing my views and opinions on the World Cup tournament and on the Premier League season.

The 42-year-old also scored 126 goals in the English top-flight from his time at West Ham, Liverpool, Leeds, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur.
