Stockholm listed betting operator Betsson AB has confirmed the promotion of Ulrik Bengtsson as new Group CEO & President.
The appointment of Bengtsson as Group CEO, ends Betsson AB governances search for its replacement of former leader Magnus Silfverberg.
Bengtsson will take over corporate leadership from interim CEO Pontus Lindwall, who is set to return to his previous role of Chairman of the Board.
A digital services veteran Bengtsson, had previously advised Betsson AB strategy having worked as CEO of the betting firm’s operational division BML Group Malta. Taking full leadership of Betsson AB, Bengtsson will merge responsibilities of BML Group and Betsson operations.

Ulrik Bengtsson commented on taking the leadership Betsson AB group

In this way Betsson will continue to gain market shares. Our strategy to grow both organically and through acquisitions remains”.
