The 2016 IGB Affiliate Awards (Thursday 4 February) saw familiar winners as bet365 and Oddschecker retained top sports betting honours at the ceremony hosted at the Electric Brixton.

Led by Head of Performance Marketing James Woods’ bet365 defended its title of ‘Best Sports Betting Affiliate’ for a record third year in a row, beating shortlisted contenders bwin.party, Betfair, Coral, Pinnacle Sports and Affiliates United.

Continuing what has become an industry tradition, sports betting odds comparison portal Oddschecker (subsidiary of Sky Betting & Gaming) completed its fourth consecutive win as ‘Best Sports Betting Affiliate’.

The odds portal defended its title against EasyOdds.com, bettingexpert.com, Footy Accumulators, WettBasis and bettingpro.com.

Causing what was likely to be the awards nights’ biggest surprise, 10Bet affiliate lead Elina Basheva won “Best Sports Betting Affiliate Manager” beating an all-male shortlist.

Coral UK won ‘Best Affiliate Marketing Campaign’, for its Football Season 2015/16 campaign. The 2016 IGB Affiliate Awards, saw further wins for European sports betting Unibet who won ‘Best Poker Affiliate Program’.
