The governance of European sports betting operator mybet SE Holdings, has accepted the resignation of CEO Sven Ivo Brinck. Brinck will depart from the operator at the end of the month and will be replaced by Zeno Ossko, current Director of Business Development and Commercials.

Ivo Brinck had been appointed CEO of mybet in December 2013 replacing Mathias Dahms. As CEO he was tasked with leading the bookmaker’s turnaround after several performance quarters in decline.

Throughout 2014 Ivo Brinck would undertake a management restructure of mybet’s senior executive team and an overhaul of its digital strategy and product offerings. Furthermore Ivo Brinck would sell the underperforming divisions of mybet Spain and Italy in order to focus on core markets.

Having recorded losses of €11 million in 2013, Ivo Brinck would announce the operator’s turnaround posting EBIT profits of €600,000 for 2014.

Ivo Brinck who will be replaced by Zeno Ossko on 1 August, stated that mybet was a company and experience he “truly cherish”, however he no longer felt like the “perfect match for the company”.

Ivo Brinck will stay on as an advisor to ensure a smooth leadership transition for the company mybet governance thanked Ivo Brinck for his contribution and positive changes to its operations, which had helped the company’s recovery.
