Sportingbet gets in the Facebook

facebookSportingbet has recently gone live with Wikibetting’s Facebook Application that allows users to bet on a peer to peer level using fake currency. Users have the ability to challenge friends within Facebook based on different Football events, apply the odds, and propose the wagered amount.

The bookmaker believes that this is a great way for Sportingbet to tap into a new demographic of players via one of the largest social networks in the world, and convert them into real players or even educate users on the sports betting process in a risk free environment.

Mark Hothersall, Business Development Manager at Wikibetting, said, “It is great to have the likes of Sportingbet taking an interest so early with our social betting platform range, and helping us during our beta testing stage to further develop the products. Wikibetting offer a range of different platforms which can be Facebook based or directly integrated into the operators interface.”
