The Senet Group selects The Corner as creative marketing agency

The Senet Group, the industry body which aims to monitor responsible advertising, player messaging and marketing for the gambling sector has announced the appointment of London creative marketing agency The Corner to lead advertising creative and key messaging activities for its upcoming  UK responsible gambling advertising campaigns.

The Senet Group disclosed that The Coroner had won its advertising account following a competitive pitch against creative marketing agencies – Karmarama and Grey London

A Senet Group spokesperson commented: “After a close contest, we have appointed The Corner as our ad agency and look forward to working with them. They have some great ideas.”

The independent body The Senet Group compromises of the UK’s four biggest bookmakers –William Hill, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power and Coral, the group was set up in response to public concerns regarding gambling advertising and marketing activities

From January 2015, the body and its members will commit to all TV advertising carrying more prominent responsible gambling messages. Senet itself is also set to launch a major advertising campaign at the start of 2015, believed to be the first work that The Corner will create.

The pitch process was handled by marketing insight specialists Oystercatchers.
