eGaming Review has revealed the appointment of Daniel Moran as the inaugural CEO of bet365 Australia. Moran will head up governance and operations of bet365 Australia, as the operator looks to establish itself as one of the region’s top igaming and sports betting operators.
Daniel Moran had served as CEO of Sportingbet Australia (2000 – 2002) and defunct igaming operator World Gaming Plc (2003 – 2006). Moran (46) has consulted several betting operators on the Australian igaming market and has a firm understanding of technology and network processes.
Moran takes over operations of bet365 Australia which was launched in mid-2012. The business division employs over 200 staff members, bet365 senior management outlined that it had invested AUS $77 million (£42.5 million) in setting up its Australian focused business division.
