Sky Bet are paying out on the winner Humidor – as well as each-way bets on the second and third – after confusion reigned in the void race at Epsom on Monday
The runners in the totepool Supporting The Sport You Love Handicap completed the full five furlongs despite a false start having been called at the rain-drenched track.
The riders appeared not to notice the flag man on the track and the race carried on, with the George Baker-trained Humidor passing the post first in the hands of James Doyle with Come On Dave (5/1) second and Taurus Twins (16/1) third.
A stewards’ inquiry was immediately called, which resulted in the race being voided.
However Sky Bet are paying out on the first three as they would had the result stood – as well as voiding stakes on all beaten horses.
Racing PR Manager Michael Shinners said: “It was obviously a very unfortunate incident at Epsom. However we feel punters who backed the first three deserve to be paid out and obviously stakes are returned for all the other horses.”
