Martin – 666Bet to enter UK market with £8 million marketing drive

Barry Martin Chief Executive Officer of newly launch sportsbook and casino – 666Bet, announced his company’s ambition to compete with established operators in the UK sports betting and igaming market.

Martin, former CEO and Founder of  The Gutshot Poker Club, unveiled ambitious plans for 666Bet, stating that the brand  would enter the sports betting market with £8 million marketing drive as it looked to establish itself in the UK and Asia.

666Bet will run as a Isle of Man licensed Novigroup B2B whitelabel platform. Martin confirmed that the brand would have high coverage on UK TV, between the start of the World Cup and throughout the 2014/15 Premiership football season.

Martin commented  “Of course it’s a very competitive and cluttered market but I see that there’s a number of opportunities for an operator that is agile, takes customer service seriously – not just about its interaction with its end user, but the whole spectrum of brand perception and deliverability. Within 18 months we will be knocking on the door of the big guys,”

Martin said 666Bet, which will officially launch on Monday 2 June, will receive its operating licence from Alderney Gambling Control Commission within three months. Martin further stated that the new operator would apply for a UK Gambling Commission licence in the coming months.
