EGT eyes South American expansion with Bogota HQ

Seeking to open its games machine distribution network within the burgeoning South American market, European gambling technology firm Euro Games Technology (EGT) has confirmed that it has opened a new office in Bogota Colombia.

Updating the market, EGT governance detailed that it had chosen the Colombian capital city as its South American HQ following an extensive review of regional markets legal frameworks and business conditions.

EGT has chosen Bogota as its South American business hub, stating that the city and its strategic location offers the best potential for strong sales growth.

Its new South American division will be led by Silviya Marinova who will take on the responsibilities of Regional Director focusing on commercial growth and business development.

Targeting new market expansion, the Bulgarian gambling machine manufacturer has secured a ‘slot cabinet’ provisions arrangement with Spanish gambling operator Grupo Codere which will see it supply 78 multi-player cabinets to its South American casino portfolio.
