Rank Group Plc has promoted Interactive MD Jon Martin to the position of Group Chief Operating Officer (COO), confirming that he will assume the role during the summer.
A five-year executive of Rank, Martin has led multiple divisions of the LSE gambling group including its Aspers Online brand and International operations.
In his new position, Martin will maintain his role in strategising and overseeing the performance of Rank Interactive. In addition, he will be in charge of the evolution and implementation of Rank’s customer experience and service across all channels for the Mecca and Grosvenor brands
He will also be a key stakeholder in Rank’s ongoing development of its proprietary tech platforms, which aim to develop a new cross-channel experience that caters to the requirements of customers at Grosvenor and Mecca venues and online.

An executive search has begun for a new Managing Director for Rank Interactive, a position responsible for managing Rank’s digital business operations in the UK and its operations hub in Gibraltar.
