French state-owned gambling operator Paris Mutuel Urbain (PMU), will enter the 2016/17 football and rugby seasons with eight high coverage club partnerships.
Committed to raising its brand profile within French sports PMU has secured partnerships with French football clubs’ RCL Lens, Racing Club Strasbourg, FC Rennes and Stade Lavallois. Its marketing partnerships’ with French rugby clubs will see PMU partner with Racing 92 Paris, Stade Toulousain, Toulon Rugby and Lyon Lou Rugby.
Looking ahead to a new season of French football and rugby PMU governance stated that the partnerships would be an integral part of promoting its current +13,000 retail point network and growing its online betting services (www.pmu.fr).
Preparing its partnerships, PMU marketing stated that it would bring added-value promotions and offers to fans of its sponsored clubs, which had been selected due to their passionate fan bases.
Updating the market, PMU governance stated that its organization was committed to promoting French sports social and grass root initiatives, further stating that the company had supported multiple French sporting events in its 25-year history.
