Ladbrokes hires Kristof Fahy as new CMO

Continuing its senior management restructure under new CEO Jim Mullen, Ladbrokes has announced the appointment of Kristof Fahy as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

The former William Hill CMO (2010 – 2015), re-joins the betting industry having led Telegraph Media Group marketing for the past six months.

Kristof will lead all brand and marketing initiatives for Ladbrokes retail and digital divisions reporting directly to Jim Mullen.

The operator further informed that Fahy is set to sit on the Executive Management team. Furthermore, If the proposed merger with Coral to create Ladbrokes Coral Plc, is permitted Fahy will become Chief Marketing Officer of the enlarged group and be part of the senior management team.

Ladbrokes CEO, Jim Mullen welcomed the appointment of Fahy commenting

“Kristof has exceptional experience in our sector and a track record of delivery in the battle to attract and retain recreational customers.

When I set out the Ladbrokes organic plan for building long term recreational scale and made the necessary budget commitment to boost our marketing presence, I was always conscious that I would need an experienced and creative marketing professional to lead the programme.  In Kristof, I have recruited the right leader who can help us maximise our spend and grow the long term loyal customer base that will build a better Ladbrokes and deliver our long term targets and ambitions.”

Kristof Fahy commented on joining Ladbrokes
