Eastern European gambling and betting operator Synot Group has acquired a minority stake in Australian machine gaming manufacturer Atlas Gaming. The investment in the manufacturer is part of its strategic partnership with South African gambling investment firm Grand Parade Investments (GPI).
The Synot Group investment in Atlas Gaming, will see the Czech based gambling operator provide global distribution services as Australian manufacturer aims to increase its international presence. Synot Group did not disclose any terms of its investment in Atlas Gaming
Atlas Gaming management have outlined expanding its gaming machine services for the Australian and South African markets in the remainder of 2015. The investment further strengthens Synot Group’s ambitions of operating gaming services beyond Eastern Europe.
Synot Group Sales Director Miroslav Valenta Jr. welcomed the partnership with GPI, and its investment in Atlas Gaming

“We do not perceive this collaboration only as an investment; this common project corresponds with our long-term strategy, which is about finding new markets.”
