UK business news wire This is Money, reported that after months of strategic evaluation the bookmaker is ready to announce James Henderson as incoming CEO for the UK’s leading biggest sports betting operator.

The operator had begun the executive search for Toppings replacement at the start of 2014, further confirming that Topping would remain in his position to help the company during the transition period.

Finding a replacement for Ralph Topping had a prudent priority for the operator who had searched both internally and externally for a replacement. William Hill had appointed Executive Search specialists – Zygos to help the company in its selection and candidate evaluation process.

Industry veteran James Henderson had been overseeing the expansion of William Hill in foreign markets, Henderson had played a key figure in the operator entering and starting up new betting operations in the Australian igaming market.

This is Money announced that William Hill are keen to name Topping’s replacement before the start of 2015, which they believe will be a transitional period to the gambling sector with the introduction of new operating  legislation and corporate taxes for the UK market.
