Playtech & 888 enter US multi-state live casino partnership

Playtech Plc has secured a major technology agreement to supply its live casino suite and further RNG games to 888 Holdings’ North American subsidiaries.

The partnership will begin with a roll-out of Playtech Live casino games on the 888Casino platform licensed for the state of New Jersey.

The 888Casino brand has operated in New Jersey since 2019 as one of the Garden State’s first online gambling firms licensed by the NJ Gambling Commission (NJGC).

“We are pleased to expand our partnership with Playtech and offer its unique Live Casino and RNG content to players of 888casino in the US,” said Howard Mittman, President, 888 US.

“This agreement will enhance the overall player experience by offering more entertaining and dynamic games, which is a key part of our content and product leadership strategy. We look forward to welcoming Playtech’s content and growing our partnership together.”

Further developments will see the partnership expanded across several regulated states as part of both companies’ ongoing strategic growth in the stateside market.

Playtech has stated its intent to become the most dominant live casino games supplier in the US – the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, Shimon Akad, added: “I am thrilled that our trusted partners, 888, have chosen to take our Live Casino and RNG games across multiple states, marking another exciting step in our expansion in the US.

“Live Casino is Playtech’s newest proposition to the US market and it is giving operators the opportunity to diversify their offering, resulting in great demand for our industry-leading software.

“We are proud to be supporting 888casino in delivering the very best online entertainment experience to its U.S. audience and we look forward to continuing this successful partnership with a market-leading operator.”
