The newly formed FanDuel Group (Betfair US + FanDuel) has confirmed that it will utilise IGT Group systems as its lead sports betting technology provider for the regulated state of New Jersey.
FanDuel Group, the strategic US subsidiary of FTSE100 betting firm Paddy Power Betfair (PPB) has chosen IGT as its lead sports betting platform supplier, servicing its New Jersey operations.
The technology partnership will see FanDuel integrate its PPB’s pricing modules and risk management capabilities within an IGT bespoke retail systems, as new enterprise ‘FanDuel Sportsbook’ seeks to become the leading establishment for sports betting in New Jersey.
Matt King, FanDuel Group CEO, explained: “We are delighted to choose IGT’s leading platform for our sports betting platform in New Jersey, starting with the recent ‘go live’ at the Meadowlands Racetrack.
“When we evaluated sports betting platform provider partners in the U.S., IGT was the ideal choice, based on the company’s proven history in the space and the quality, reliability and flexibility of the sports betting technology that it has deployed for customers around the world.”
Last Saturday (14 July), FanDuel Group launched its initial ‘FanDuel Sportsbook’ retail establishment at the Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherland NJ.
