DraftKings retains Exiger as compliance advisor

DraftKings has confirmed that it will retain the services of global risk and compliance advisor Exiger.

New York based Exiger is set to conduct a review of all aspects of DraftKings financial, operational, compliance, and risk controls practices, with the aim of securing and improving the operators consumer safety policies and initiatives.

Its continued partnership with Exiger was welcomed by DraftKings CEO Jason Robins

“We are opening our operations to Exiger for a deep and detailed review to help us ensure we are employing best practices and are conducting our business with the highest compliance standards.” 

“Exiger’s expertise and recommendations will help us continue to offer safe, fun and fair games to the millions of people who enjoy playing them.

Roy Pollitt, a former Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, will lead Exiger’s engagement with DraftKings.  At the FBI, Mr. Pollitt focused on organized crime and complex money laundering schemes.

Pollitt commented on DraftKings operations : “We look forward to working with DraftKings and have already begun assessing the Company’s operations and integrity controls. I am encouraged by the commitment from DraftKings’ senior management to provide our team with full access and transparency.”
