Ontario launches PlayOLG.ca with GTECH Interactive

playocaOntario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) has launched its new online gambling hub PlayOLG.ca with GTECH Interactive services.

OLG will offer Ontario province consumers with casino games and slot, as well as online lottery purchasing capabilities. The OLG online gambling hub will be maintained using GTECH player provisions services including GTECH interactive player account and games management systems.

OLG Vice Presdent John Wisternoff commented on the launch

“With the launch of PlayOLG, OLG joins seven other Canadian provinces in offering provincially regulated, safe Internet gaming. GTECH’s solution provides a safe, secure, regulated and entertaining Internet gaming option in Ontario, with profits supporting initiatives like health care and community infrastructure for the benefit of all Ontarians.”

With the launch PlayOLG GTECH increase its interactive solutions portfolio, which includes state sanctioned online gambling provisions for Norsk Tipping (Norway), Austrian Lotteries, Svenska Spel (Sweden) and Lottomatica (Italy).
